On 9/30 (Mon), Hakuba Iwatake Mountain Resort announced that it decided to sell the land of the base area to Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. (Tokyo) (*The land will be the estate of Mitsubishi in March, 2026). The company will introduce an international high-graded hotel in this vast area of 19,000㎡.
*The new gondola will be open on 12/20 (Fri).
*The old gondola bottom station will be renovated and it will be open in the winter of 2025-26 as a ticket center, lobby, shop, rental shop and school.
